Esta ida, por acaso, foi bastante imprevista e só soube mesmo hoje que iria visitar o Coliseu, mais uma vez. Prevejo que o ambiente será certamente mais calmo do que ontem. Conheço pouco da música de Peter Murphy, mas como ganhei bilhete "à borliú" uma pessoa não se recusa a ir. É bom ter amigos que se lembram de nos presentear com um bilhete de um concerto que será certamente interessante de ver. :)

Quando for grande....
... quero ser como esta senhora. Assim mesmo com um chapelinho daqueles...
Ontem fui ao Coliseu de Lisboa, como tinha já sido anunciado. A sala estava cheia para acolher uma grande senhora em palco, uma grande presença e uma bela voz. As roupas extravagantes eram trocadas num ápice aquando da mudança de tema. Também faço algo parecido em casa quando tenho pressa e depois é o resultado de feira dos ciganos com a roupa espalhada por todos os cantos. Adiante...Róisín Murphy dançou, cantou e encantou, bem acompanhada pelos seus músicos e vozes de apoio também elas a participarem nas coreografias ritmadas e tresloucadas.
Houve momentos electrizantes, e outros mais calmos, mais intimistas ao estilo de unplugged da MTV. Simplesmente adorei, apesar da sensação de ter querido ouvir mais alguns temas como "Forever More", tema criado quando Róisín ainda pertencia aos Moloko, ou "Cry Baby" do último álbum a solo. Mas pronto... não se pode pedir muito mais do que duas horas de concerto non-stop. Ao menos ouvi o excelente tema "Dear Miami" e, para mim, o momento alto da noite, "Let Me Know". Curiosa a versão que interpretou de "Slave to Love" de Bryan Ferry. Se ainda não conhecem estes temas, não sabem o que estão a perder. Palmas para a senhora Róisín Murphy!Volte sempre!

Salvem o Miguel/ Save Miguel
Enviaram-me um dia um convite pelo facebook para salvar o Miguel. Curiosa, e sempre disposta a salvar os Miguéis deste mundo (nesta minha ignorância inicial ao julgar Miguel como uma pessoa) fui ver o que era. Não obtive exactamente resposta, até um amigo meu, passar-me este link www.savemiguel.com que explica quem é exactamente o Miguel. Nada mais, nada menos do que um sobreiro alentejano. Sim. Save Miguel é uma campanha de protecção do sobreiro português, pela sua importância no nosso ecossistema. E como qualquer ecossistema espalhado pelo mundo, está em perigo. A quebra de vendas de cortiça leva a que muitas pessoas deixem de trabalhar nessa área e consequentemente, as árvores deixam de existir. E como salvar Miguel? Basta comprar garrafas de vinho com rolhas de cortiça. Curiosamente esta campanha surge primeiro na Austrália, onde se verificou um aumento de venda de garrafas de vinho com tampas em plástico. E temos Rob Schneider (actor de comédia de filmes mesmo doidos como The Animal ou Deuce Bigalow:Male Gigolo) a percorrer o país à procura do Miguel. Não deixa de mostrar a campanha com algum sentido de humor. A melhor frase é mesmo a final: "Angelina no more kids, just more cork!" eheh

Curious and always willing to save the Miguels of this world in my ignorant belief that it was a person, I went to check what it was. Later a friend of mine sent me this link: www.savemiguel.com that explains exactly who he is. It's a cork tree. Yes, a simple cork tree that lives somewhere in Alentejo (a southern region in Portugal). So "Save Miguel" is an environmental campaign to save the Portuguese cork trees which has a big importance in our ecosystem. And as any ecosystem it is in danger. The decrease in the selling of cork has put many people without work, and so the trees are disappearing. And how do we save Miguel? With just simple actions, like buying wine bottles with corks and not screw caps. Curiously, this campaign started not in Portugal, but in Australia, where it has been a significant increase of wine bottles with screw caps. And we have Rob Schneider, actor that has made crazy movies like The Animal or Deuce Bigalow:Male Gigolo), trying to find Miguel in Portugal. Always with sense of humour he shows his face for the campaign. His best sentence is: "Angelina no more kids, just more cork!" eheh

Sou candidata a Presidente dos States/ I'm running for the Presidency of the USA
Pois é. Não tenho mais nada para fazer de útil para a sociedade e decidi candidatar-me a Presidente dos EUA. Estava para lavar a louça e limpar o pó da casa. Não me apetece. Por isso comecei com a minha campanha e acho que já estou a ter algum sucesso nos EUA. Não acreditam? Então vejam!

E já que falamos da Suécia, falamos também.../Since I mentioned Sweden, let's talk...
... em sueco, pois então! Esta é uma das lições de sueco mais cómicas de sempre! O aluno é um animador de rádio inglês que se vai mudar para a Suécia e nada como aprender alguma coisa da língua com este curso intensivo, pouco lógico, mas hilariante. E depois admirem-se por que é que aprendi tão pouco de sueco em 7 meses e meio de estadia...
